the best Aperol spritz I’ve ever had and the truffle pasta was so delicious. A small hole in the wall place that is 100% worth your time. Chef cooking right there in the kitchen making everything fresh. We were lucky to be seated without a reservation, I would recommend making one in advance. Would absolutely recommend and visit again!
A small (5 tables inside) family restaurant that, if you can get a table, is the best of the best. The food, the wine, the service and the atmosphere all primo. The best part is getting to watch the artistry in the kitchen as each dish is prepared. You want fancy and no reservations, don’t come here although you may get a seat at one of 5 street tables.
Small & cosy restaurant. Food is fabulous. We really enjoyed the dinner & ambience.
Our reservation was for 6:00pm, though Google says they open at 6:30pm. When we arrived at 6:00pm, lady boss was busy cleaning windows, desks & everywhere. We wonder why she didn't come earlier to do so. She asked us to wait & we waited. It finally opened around 6:30pm. This feeling was funny.
The lady boss was so busy with so many customers that it makes us a bit nervous. She was like a nice but strict school teacher as she had to organise her customers. The man was also busy but quietly & diligently preparing food.
We did have to wait quite long for our food, esp dessert.
As their biz was so good, perhaps they can employ 1 more helper. That will make our dinner experience perfect.
The best dining experience we had while in Rome, and easily the best pasta we had while in Rome. I can’t recommend this place enough. Make sure you get the meat and cheese board to start, it’s perfection! This place is 5 STARS!!!
Stopped in for dinner. Very friendly staff, made great recommendations. Food was awesome! Small but very cute atmosphere. A must try!
Loved loved loved it! Adorable place with just a few tables (highly recommend a reservation). My husband and I ate there tonight with my parents and we had our best meal in Italy (so far) and it felt like an authentic experience. My favorite was the salami bruschetta with truffle honey…it was so delicious, I bought 2 large jars of the honey to take home. Do yourself a favor and don’t miss dinner at this lovely place!!!
We really enjoyed our dinner at this small restaurant close to our hotel.
Service was great, it felt really personal and authentic, not like other restaurants in this area in Rome.
I read that there’s usually a wait and other reviewers here on google suggests to get a reservation, but we went at 9pm, and we were seated immediately.
I really enjoyed their truffle pasta. I usually cannot finish a whole plate of pasta because it is too heavy for me, but I devoured their truffle pasta and finished every bit of it.
The semifredo pistachio, which was recommended by our server, was also really good.
Overall, the service and the food made our dinner a really enjoyable experience. Good thing I saw this on google maps when I was checking for restos near our hotel.
Loved it!! This place is special! Tiny quaint spot on a side street in Rome! The chef is making everything in a small cook space right in front of you! Beautiful fresh meats. Fresh herbs picked from the plant. His wife is the waitress… so gracious and patient. We had one of our best meals here. Call if you cant book a reservation online.
